looking for laptop but on a budget. looked a little on ebay but not sure what’s a good/ inexpensive laptop and what’s a cheap laptop. any suggestion??

If you go to staples right now they have a hp pavilion dv7 notebook for 600 dollars heres the specs: AMD Truion x2 dual core mobile processer 2.0 gh – 4 GB of memory (very good!!!!!) – 320 GB hard drive (that’s a lot of storage :) – Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit color w/th SP1 – ATI radon graphics (note: this takes 328 MB of shared memory but this wont effect it very much while using the computer) – 17 inch true life HD WXGA moniter – a free media center control remote =) – built in altec lansing speakers – this laptop is great for the price it also has compactive media controls and a very cool built in webcam this laptop is super good for multitasking, simple gaming, surfing the web, and it is ment for entertainment this is a sale from staples only! i bought one a few days ago and im waiting for it to be shiped to my home Hope you get a great deal i strongly recommend this one if it is in your budget!!!

I had zero problems The only bad thing is the weight it is huge!!!!! if you can handle the weight get it it kind of puts a imprint in your leg when you are using it i would get a good place to dock it

Imporant note!!!!!!! – It is only avaible for 600 dollars in store. i was lucky to still find one lol!

And at lease 100mhz?
(No Bidding sites like Ibid.com Ebay.com ect.)
(I wouldnt care if it takes a long time to start aslong as it does start)

I dont really want a big leather laptop bag. Just a simple sleeve type of case. With a handle possibly… any ideas? I want to carry it around campus sometimes and I wanted something that isn’t very bulky. THANKS!

try best buy or the Apple online store (if u have a mac)
windows, obviously NOT apple store online
incase makes a bunch of huggy sleeves that come in a bunch of designs
they also makes strap ones too if you want that instead.
if you don’t like those, apple/best buy have huge selections

i. uk warranty will not cover india
unless you buy a high end model with global warranty

ii. uk prices are attrocious, post vat
i believe buying in india is cheaper than buying in uk
< vat paid is refundable, but procedure is pretty cumbersome >

iii. keyboard layout will be uk. india uses us keyboard layout

now mind telling us a little bit more on what / why you plan exact, so that we can tell you better

NOooooo. Please don’t buy from them. Is a fraud. Prices are good but goods never come.
I paid for a TV $ 450, then they asked me for additional $ 180 for tax. I paid both and never heard from them again. I have been waiting for tracking number for more than a month and sending emails to them. They just do not answer. Until yesterday when they asked me for another $ 205 for more tax…
I keep calling and trying to contact them through the chat and they just do not answer.
I sent a formal complaint to the Chinese embassy in my country…I am waiting
