Lenovo laptop’s seem to be the better choice right now (over Dell).

Most people would tell you XP, but like Windows 98, it will eventually be too old. If you are buying new, you might as well get Vista. It is getting more stable and compatible with more programs all the time.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop and need a replacement keyboard. Yesterday I spilled some liquid on it and it shorted out (thank God nothing got in the internals).

My husband wont buy the keyboard if it isn’t from some company with a good reputation. That is what I get for marrying an engineer….
