I’m planing to buy a laptop. My budget is up to 35000. I’m not a gamer so graphics can be very basic, but processor speed and RAM alone are important. Please suggest in Dell, Acer, HP, etc not anything expensive. thanks

i m living in a hostel, so have seen pro nd cons of a laptop.
dont go for a HP, the screen will blew up in few days, even the charger nd batteries arent upto mark.
if u arent going for graphics card nd such cozy hardware i would suggest dell, as it a complete peace of mind with onsite warranty.

Unfortunately India does have an outrageous import tax so I would recommend a laptop assembled in India, a bare bones laptop filled with custom components, that’s the cheapest option but u will need brains to get it done

My Budget is arnd 20 to 25k and no netbooks , can go for 12” laptop with no os as well , can go for core 2 duo processor

i. uk warranty will not cover india
unless you buy a high end model with global warranty

ii. uk prices are attrocious, post vat
i believe buying in india is cheaper than buying in uk
< vat paid is refundable, but procedure is pretty cumbersome >

iii. keyboard layout will be uk. india uses us keyboard layout

now mind telling us a little bit more on what / why you plan exact, so that we can tell you better
